- Avoid inviting strangers to your home for the first meeting.
- Schedule handovers during daylight hours whenever practical.
- Let someone you trust know where you are meeting.
2. Inspect Garments Carefully
Before completing a handover or making payment, both parties should inspect the garment together.
- Check zips, buttons, seams, and embellishments.
- Look for stains, tears, fading, or missing accessories.
- Take photos of the garment if both parties agree.
- Confirm the garment's condition before the rental begins.
3. Online Payments & Security Deposits
Since payments happen directly between users, take extra care when handling money online.
- Never share your OTP, UPI PIN, banking password, or card details.
- Be cautious of users claiming they accidentally transferred extra money.
- Remember that receiving a UPI payment never requires entering your PIN.
- Clearly agree on refundable security deposit terms before making payment.
- Keep all payment discussions documented in the chat.
4. Protect Your Personal Information
Share only the information necessary to complete a transaction and protect your personal privacy at all times.
- Never share your banking passwords, OTPs, or UPI PIN with anyone.
- Do not provide debit or credit card details through chat.
- Avoid sharing unnecessary personal or financial information.
- Verify the identity of the other user before meeting or making any payment.
- Report suspicious behaviour immediately through the platform.
