Building a Respectful Community

Our community thrives when everyone treats each other with honesty, kindness, and respect. By using Restyle Hub, you agree to follow these Community Guidelines and help create a safe, welcoming, and trustworthy platform for everyone.

1. Be Honest About Garment Condition

Accurately describe every item you list. Honest listings help build trust between owners and renters.

  • Clearly disclose stains, wear-and-tear, repairs, or size alterations.
  • Upload recent photos of the actual garment you own.
  • Never use stock photos or misleading images for personal items.
  • Describe colours, sizes, and condition truthfully.

2. Practice Clear & Polite Communication

Respectful communication creates a better experience for everyone.

  • Reply to enquiries within a reasonable time.
  • Inform other users if an item is no longer available.
  • Be polite, respectful, and professional during conversations.
  • Avoid abusive language, harassment, discrimination, or threats.
  • Keep rental terms, pricing, and expectations clear.

3. Treat Outfits Like Your Own

Renters are expected to take excellent care of borrowed garments throughout the rental period.

  • Handle garments carefully and respectfully.
  • Avoid stains, spills, excessive perfumes, or deodorants that may damage fabrics.
  • Do not make alterations, repairs, or modifications without the owner's permission.
  • Follow any care instructions provided by the owner.

4. Honor Your Commitments

If you agree to a rental period, pickup time, return date, or payment arrangement, please honour your commitment.

  • Arrive on time for scheduled meetups.
  • Inform the other person immediately if your plans change.
  • Return rented garments on the agreed date and in the agreed condition.
  • Avoid last-minute cancellations whenever possible.
  • Respect that many rentals are for important occasions such as weddings, parties, and celebrations.

If you encounter fake listings, suspicious behaviour, harassment, counterfeit products, or any activity that violates these Community Guidelines, please report the user or listing immediately.
